our artistic programming and productions
-
our outreach and education activities in schools and the local community across Singapore
-
our touring programs that connect audiences of different cultures and languages with our Singapore works
-
and professional training programs for young talents
SCDT is registered as a charity under the Charities Act and is approved as an Institution of Public Character (IPC). All existing qualifying donors will be entitled to a 250% tax deduction for donations made from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2026 (both dates inclusive) as announced in Budget 2021 to encourage Singaporeans to give back to the community and to provide strong support for the charity sector.
All existing qualifying donors should furnish their name, tax reference numbers (e.g. NRIC/FIN/UEN), contact number and mailing address to us when making a donation. We will then mail out the tax-deductible receipt as well as provide your donation details to IRAS so that a tax deduction for your donation will be automatically included in your tax assessment.
As an arts charity organisation, your donation is further amplified with the help of the Cultural Matching Fund (CMF). This fund is set up by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) to provide dollar-for-dollar (1:1) matching grants for private cash donations to arts and heritage charities and Institutions of Public Character (IPC).
