The Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre (SCDT) is pleased to announce that it will be holding its fifth series of EMERGENCE on 20th and 21st January 2018, 8pm and 3pm respectively, at the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Blackbox Theatre.
EMERGENCE is a new works showcase platform established by SCDT for aspiring choreographers to develop their artistic potential, and have an opportunity to present their works to and be recognised by an audience group.
Join young choreographers, Fan Bizhou, Goh Xiang Tian, Li Le (China), Lynn Tan, Nah Jiemin, Teo Tong Wei, Yoke Kay and Zeng Xiang as they explore and experiment with elements of Chinese dance in their works based on the given theme is “Passage of Time”.
